ART TRADING CARDS (ATCs) ... Alice in Wonderland (ATCs) ... Abstractions (Birch Bark Studios) ... Meditation and Prayer Bead Sets: Beads, stones, knots in string have all been used as aids in meditation and prayer. The act of counting beads while reciting a mantra or prayer can help the mind focus on the act or the process of meditation or prayer. It keeps us in a rhythm and aids in keeping the mind from wandering. This is a process of 'mindful prayer' or meditation or mindful contemplation. CORGI Paddy was born February 5, 2001, in Kiowa, Colorado. He adopted Jonni & Jim on March 24, 2001. DOLLS I'm making art dolls. Then, if those ideas have merit, we're going to let them take root... drifting, floating, darting, jumping with joy from one keyboard to another. JONNI JONES I hope I live a long, long time. I want to see what's going to happen. I can't believe the changes in the world in the last 50 years, let alone the last 10 or 15! I want to be around, ''hell or high water''. It's going to be interesting!!! KARMA + KNICK KNACKS (Hinduism and Buddhism) the effects of a person's actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation + One's acts considered as fixing one's lot in the future existence. (Theos.) The doctrine of fate as the inflexible result of cause and effect; the theory of inevitable consequence. LOVE The word love has many different meanings in English, from something that gives a little pleasure (''I loved that meal'') to something one would die for (patriotism, family). It can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love. Probably due to its psychological relevance, love is one of the most common themes in art and music. MILE HIGH HOME TOWN The City and County of Denver (pronounced /'d?nv?/) is the capital and the most populous city of Colorado, in the United States. Denver is located in the South Platte River Valley on the High Plains just east of the Front Range of the Southern Rocky Mountains. The Denver downtown district is located immediately east of the confluence of Cherry Creek with the South Platte River, approximately 15 miles (24 km) east of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Denver is nicknamed the Mile-High City because its official elevation is exactly one mile (5280 feet or 1609.344 m) above sea level. NARCISSUS and GOLDMUND by Hermann Hesse: As with most Hesse novels, the storyline in Narcissus and Goldmund too, is an elegantly linear one, with few characters and no tangle of events. Much like tea leaves; it appears light on a perfunctory reading but reveals its deep underlying philosophy only when one attempts to read beyond the written words. OVERWHELMING interest to me is: Art and its relationship to peace! Because creating art is a physical activity (putting words to paper or keyboard…paint brush to canvas…wet hands to clay…needle to cloth), art is a concrete creation which promotes a visceral reaction. PHOTOGRAHY ... I'm learning digital photography (my first and greatest artistic love) and the artistic alterations I can make to the photos on my computer. And then I'm putting them to paper or canvas and filling my photos with paint and paper and cloth and whatever else I can imagine. QUESTIONNAIRE ... A questionnaire is a research instrument consisting of a series of questions and other prompts for the purpose of gathering information from respondents. Although they are often designed for statistical analysis of the responses, this is not always the case. The questionnaire was invented by Sir Francis Galton. RESPECT is when we're going to talk to and listen to the ''other''. We're going to forget about personal pride and self-doubt and talk about our ideas, no matter how ridiculous or outrageous, and share them with the world. Then, if those ideas have merit, we're going to let them take root. So we shall going to change the world together. By Jonni Jones GAIA.COM SENTENCES (two) about my philosophy: ''Life is a constant permutation of endless and infinite art.'' + ''Art is the infinite variation of the changeless.''
